A graduate of B. Voc. in MIT is an all-rounder as far as imaging is concerned. The course envisages to build in an overall expertise in the student, of imaging patients with care. This student would be capable of offering a range of services from X-Ray imaging to CT scan imaging to MRI imaging to cath lab imaging. The need for such professionals has been expressed by not only the healthcare industry employers, but also the consumers of this industry, i.e., patients. The specialized skill training offered to the students makes them an asset not only to the doctors and nurses but the patients as well. The products of this course would thus be better alternatives to existing under trained imaging technicians, thus reducing the burden on doctors and midwifes. This would also enable them to deliver quality care. The course thus, aims to all the gap between the demand for these professionals and dearth of their availability.
